Farmers harvest crayfishes nurtured in paddy fields in Nanxian County, central China's Hunan Province, June 7, 2017. Nanxian County has developed a new method for paddy rice growing, which combines the nurturing of frogs and crayfishes with the planting of paddy rice. With the existence of frogs and crayfishes, paddy fields will face less problems such as pollution and soil fertility decline. There are now altogether 250,000 Mu (about 16,667 hectares) of paddy fields adopting the method here, which makes benefits and creates jobs for locals. (Xinhua/Li Ga)
