SEOUL, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- South Korean President Moon Jae-in will cheer on Saturday night together with the head of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s Olympic delegation for a joint women's ice hockey team of the two Koreas, the presidential Blue House said.
President Moon will watch the first game of the joint women's ice hockey team between the two Koreas alongside Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly who came to South Korea Friday and attended the opening ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympics on Friday night.
The first Olympic team of the two Koreas is scheduled to play its first competition against Switzerland at 9:10 p.m. local time (1210 GMT) at an ice hockey arena in Gangneung, an eastern city near PyeongChang, the Winter Olympic venue.
Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), will also cheer together with Moon and Kim.
