SOFIA, March 14 (Xinhua) -- One man died and another was injured in an ammunition plant accident on Wednesday in the Bulgarian town of Kazanlak, some 200 km east of the country's capital Sofia, a government official said.
Bulgarian Interior Minister Valentin Radev said the accident occurred as a result of the unintentional ignition of gunpowder ingredients.
The fire caused by the accident has been extinguished, and details of major cause of the accident are still under investigation, the minister said.
The most lethal accident in a Bulgarian ammunition plant in recent years occurred in October 2014, when an explosion killed 15 people near the northwestern Bulgarian village of Gorni Lom.
