MOSCOW, April 4 (Xinhua)-- A fire at a shopping mall in eastern Moscow killed one person and injured a few others on Wednesday before it was extinguished, the country's emergency service said.

The fire broken out at the four-storey 'Perseus for Children' shopping mall which sells children's goods, Tass cited the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry's Moscow department, Ilya Denisov as saying.

The area of the fire totaled about 80 square meters. The fire has been put out, Denisov said.
