TOKYO, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks closed lower Wednesday, snapping a three-day winning streak.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 264.68 points, or 1.19 percent, from Tuesday to close the day at 21,932.21.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, dropped 14.25 points, or 0.83 percent, to finish at 1,701.88.
Rubber product, marine transportation, and textile and apparel-linked issues comprised those that declined the most by the close of play.
