MEXICO CITY, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Mexico's government on Saturday condemned Friday's terrorist attack in Pakistan, which has claimed the at least 128 lives and left more than 200 people injured.
"Mexico expresses its condolences and solidarity with the people and government of Pakistan and reiterates its total rejection of the use of violence and terrorism in all its forms," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
The death toll from Friday's suicide bombing at a campaign rally in the province of Balochistan, southwestern Pakistan, has risen to 128 as of Saturday morning, said officials.
The bombing occurred during preparations for the national elections, to be held on July 25.
