Yakeshi City, located in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is a forest town with nearly 200 days of snow cover every year. Zhao Bosheng, a 75-year-old local who learned to ski 60 years ago, is still active on the skis, bringing his own legendary story of winter sports to life. Zhao describes the exhilarating experience of skiing down the snowy hills like a bird flying through the air.
