HANOI, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam will achieve a growth rate of 6.5 percent in 2025, maintaining its position among the fastest-growing economies in the ASEAN+3 region, Vietnam News cited the forecast made by ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office on Thursday.
The projection is lower than the 2024 growth rate of 7.09 percent posted by the General Statistics Office, but aligns with its target for 2025, which ranges from 6.5 percent to 8 percent, said the report.
The office also forecast Vietnam's inflation to reach 3.5 percent in 2025, well within its target range of 3 percent to 4.5 percent. ■
