BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted 17 km ENE of San Francisco, Philippines at 23:39:48 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 25.7 km, was initially determined to be at 10.14 degrees north latitude and 125.30 degrees east longitude. ■
