JALALABAD, Afghanistan, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- At least three people were killed and two others injured as a bomb blast rocked Jalalabad city, the capital of Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday, spokesman for provincial government Attaullah Khogiani said.
According to Khogiani, an explosive device went off in Chauk Talashi locality at around noon, killing three persons and injuring two others, all civilians.
Without giving more details, the official said that investigation has been initiated into the case.
