NEW DELHI, March 1 (Xinhua) -- More than 25 passengers have been injured after a bus fell off a cliff in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, police said Thursday.
The accident occurred in Rohru tehsil in state capital Shimla.
"All the 25 people, including the driver, on board the bus sustained injuries in the accident. They were rushed to a nearby hospital after being rescued by locals," a police official said.
A probe has been ordered into the incident, he said. "We will book the bus driver for rash and negligent driving if speeding is found to be the reason behind the accident," he added.
