CHARIKAR, Afghanistan, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Seven persons sustained injuries as a suicide car bomb went off near a military convoy in Khalazai area on the outskirts of eastern Parwan provincial capital Charikar on Sunday, provincial police spokesman Mohammad Salim Nuri said.
"It was a suicide car bomb exploded near a military convoy of foreign forces in Khalazai area today morning injuring seven people," Nuri told Xinhua.
However, he failed to disclose the casualties on foreign forces.
The NATO-led Resolute Support mission has yet to make comment on the report.
Meanwhile, Taliban outfit has claimed responsibility and the outfit's spokesman Zabihullah Majahid told media that the attack inflicted casualties on foreign forces.
