KUNMING, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Three suspects were caught and 24 kg of methamphetamine seized on Thursday in a drug trafficking case, police in southwest China's Yunnan Province announced on Friday.
One pistol, 50 bullets, and a vehicle were confiscated at the same time, said police in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture.
The suspects allegedly packed the drugs in multi-layer plastic bags and transported them in two backpacks.
The case is under further investigation.
Yunnan is the main focal point of the national anti-drug campaign as it borders the Golden Triangle, known for drug production and trafficking.
