HOHHOT, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Dalian Yifang beat the visiting Shandong Luneng 4-3 in the 21st round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday, winning their fourth straight victory at home to be one more step away from the relegation zone.
Dalian's striker Nicolas Gaitan broke the deadlock in the 34th minute when he scored a superb strike from distance with his left foot. Minutes later, 39-year-old Zhou Ting sliced through the crowd of defenders to find the net from the left.
By helping Dalian to enlarge the lead, Zhou also became the oldest scorer in the CSL, bettering his own record to 39 years old and 208 days.
The visitors tried hard for their chances and even became impatient as Diego Tardelli was yellow-booked in the beginning of the second half, which was just one of the six yellow cards for Shandong.
In the 58th minute, Wu Xinghan scored for Shandong to put the game into suspension again.
After Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco netted from the spot for Dalian to regain their two-goal lead, both Zhang Chi and Graziano Pelle helped Shandong equalize the score to 3-3.
In the 85th minute when Carrasco's shot rebounded off the wood, Jin Qiang rushed ahead to beat the goalkeeper through his legs for the winner.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Guangzhou R&F beat Tianjin Teda 2-0, and Hebei China Fortune tied Shanghai SIPG 1-1. Enditem
