PARIS, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- A female member of Saudi royal family was robbed of over 800,000 euros (928,479 U.S. dollars) worth of jewelry in a hotel in Paris, the daily Le Figaro reported on Monday.
The victim told police her precious goods were stolen from her room at the Ritz, one of French capital's sumptuous hotels, on Friday evening, the newspaper reported on its website.
The robbed jewelry were not in a strongbox at the time of the incident, it added.
French Banditry Repression Brigade started an investigation into the robbery.
