SINGAPORE, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) Singapore Branch Friday celebrated its 20th anniversary in Singapore by signing four MoUs with local partners.
Singaporean Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat, Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Hong Xiaoyong and CCB Chairman and Executive Director Tian Guoli were among those officiating at the celebration.
At the ceremony, CCB signed four Strategic Cooperation MoUs with Surbana Jurong Private Limited (Surbana Jurong), National University of Singapore, CITIC Envirotech Ltd and Credit Suisse (Singapore) Ltd in the areas of infrastructure advisory & financing, academic research and private banking services.
CCB Singapore Branch currently operates with a wholesale banking license and has around 80 employees in Singapore.
CCB Singapore Branch commenced operations in March 1998. It offers various financial services and products to Singapore companies as well as medium to large Chinese companies, in the areas of corporate banking, trade finance, financial markets, investment banking, private banking business and other financial services. It also serves as a regional center for six other countries including India, Pakistan, Brunei, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.
