ISTANBUL, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Turkish police on Wednesday caught 42 Pakistani illegal migrants inside a small lorry in central Istanbul, local media reported.
Police acted upon a tip of a citizen who saw the lorry on the street in the district of Bagcilar filled with refugees, the Milliyet daily said.
The truck driver escaped during the police control, it noted, adding police teams were hunting him.
The migrants will be deported after the completion of their testimonies at the police station in the district.
