RIYADH, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- Saudi-led coalition involved in a war in Yemen announced on Friday that a Houthi attack killed a woman and injured 12 others in Yemen's Hodeidah, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Tuki Al Maliki, the coalition spokesperson, said that the attack took place on Friday and targeted displaced Yemenis in Bani Jaber camp, which was recently established by Saudi King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre.
He highlighted that the attack was a disrespect of the principles of human rights and international humanitarian law, urging the United Nations to stand against the attack.
He also accused the Houthis of attempting to prevent humanitarian aid from reaching the camp's displaced residents.
Saudi Arabia has been leading the war in Yemen since 2015 in support of Yemeni exiled government against the Iranian-back Houthi militias.
