TEHRAN, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Iran traded 263,586 tons of non-oil commodities worth 149.38 million U.S. dollars with Azerbaijan during the first five months of the current Iranian fiscal year (March 21-Aug. 22), Eghtesadonline news website reported on Wednesday.
The figures registered a 39.56 percent rise in weight and 38.38 percent growth in value compared with last year's corresponding period.
Iran's exports to Azerbaijan stood at 242,209 tons worth 141.18 million U.S. dollars.
Iran mainly exported polypropylene grid, pipes and iron profiles to Azerbaijan during the five-month period.
Azerbaijan exported 21,377 tons of goods worth 8.20 million U.S. dollars to Iran.
Iran's imports mainly included non-alloy iron and steel products, poultry feed and scrap iron.
