YANGON, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Eight houses have been burnt as a hot air balloon crashed in Pyigyidagun township, Myanmar's Mandalay region, the official Global New Light of Myanmar reported Friday.
The hot air balloon fell onto a residential house in Hsa ward on Wednesday and the fire spread to the eight houses nearby.
Forty-five fire engines and over 300 firemen battled to put out the blaze, the report said.
No one was injured in the incident, the report added.
Investigation is underway into the crash.
