ISLAMABAD, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Security forces in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation, the army said in a statement Tuesday.
Paramilitary troops Frontier Corps (FC) conducted the operation by acting on an intelligence tip-off regarding presence of the arms in Sibi district of the province.
"(The) recovered items include explosives, mortar shells, rockets, anti-tank mines and accessories used for explosions," the Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the Pakistani army said in the statement.
Earlier in September, the FC recovered a cache of arms and ammunition including anti-tank mines, explosives and mortar rounds in Kahan area of the province.
