YANGON, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's regional police has filed against the Arakan Army (AA) group for Friday's attack on four police outposts in Myanmar's Rakhine state, said a release from the Myanmar Police Force on Saturday.
According to the release, the members of the AA armed group have been filed for all four incidents at the Taung Bazar police station under the 1949 Weapons Act (Temporary Amendment) and 2014 Counter-Terrorism Law.
A total of 13 police personnel were killed and nine others injured in Friday's attacks with small arms and bullets reported missing from the outposts.
The four police outposts provide security for local ethnic villages and were not as well-defended as the border police stations, an official from the Myanmar Military told Xinhua on Friday.
