JINAN, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Abdusalam scored a team-high 30 points and seven rebounds as Xinjiang extended its winning streak at home to 14 games after beating Shenzhen 110-106 in the 29th round of the 2018-2019 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Saturday night.
Center Hamed Haddadi of Iran added 25 points and 20 rebounds for Xinjiang.
The hosts had a slow start, and Shenzhen took the lead. Abdusalam had 14 points of the team's 27, as the first quarter ended with 27-30.
Xinjiang produced an 8-0 run in the opening minute of the second period, which set the tune of the first half.
Shenzhen trailed by nine points at the break, before missing several chances of equaling the game in the rest of the match.
Guangsha defeated Shanxi 127-118. Former NBA player Shabazz Muhammad of Shanxi had a game-high 60 points and 15 rebounds. Courtney Fortson of Guangsha had triple-double with 38 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Tianjin extended unbeaten run to three games as they beat Sichuan 120-110 at home.
