GHAZNI, Afghanistan, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Fierce clashes left at least six militants loyal to the Taliban group dead and 10 others wounded in Afghanistan's eastern Ghazni province, an army statement released here Tuesday said.
The fighting, according to the statement, erupted in Muqar district of the province late on Monday and lasted for a few hours, resulting in the death of six militants and injury of 10 others.
No security forces were hurt in the skirmish, according to the statement.
The Taliban militants have not commented on the report.
