CAIRO, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi has issued a decree regulating foreign travels by senior officials, the Ahram Online news website reported Tuesday.
The decree stipulated in its first article that the permission for traveling abroad for official missions and activities by senior officials must be approved by the president.
This applies to the prime minister, deputy prime ministers and ministers of defense, interior, justice and foreign affairs, as well as the heads of independent control and security agencies and their deputies.
Traveling abroad on official missions by officials not listed in the first article must be approved by the prime minister, the decree added.
