CHANGCHUN, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Maciej Lampe of Poland scored the game-high 32 points to lead the Jilin Northeast Tigers past the Xinjiang Flying Tigers 110-98 in a Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League match here on Sunday.
The former NBA player shot 15-for-23 from the field and grabbed 16 rebounds as Jilin bounced back from a triple over-time loss to the Liaoning Flying Leopard on Thursday.
Dominique Jones had 18 points for Jilin with Cui Jinming, Jiang Yuxing and Liu Tianyi also scoring in double digits.
"Despite our disadvantage in height, we did a great job in rebounding and I think that was the key to our victory," said Jilin coach Wang Han.
Spearheaded by Lampe, Jilin outrebounded Xinjiang 53-44 to improve to a 16-16 win-loss record and end Xinjiang's two-game winning streak.
Trailing by 47-40 at the half time, Jilin outscored Xinjiang 32-19 in the third quarter to overtake the lead at 72-66 and went on to enlarge it to 108-91 with one minute remaining on back of a 10-0 burst.
Abudushalamu Abudurexiti and Darius Adams had 30 points apiece for Xinjiang, while Adams only made 11 shots out of 30 attempts from the field.
Xinjiang will play Liaoning on Tuesday while Jilin take on the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions.
