LONDON, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain face an investigation from UEFA following crowd incidents in their Champions League game at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
Paris Saint-Germain won the game 2-0 thanks to an excellent second half display and goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe, leaving Manchester United with an difficult task to overturn the deficit in Paris in three weeks.
Meanwhile, United will face an investigation after two bottles were thrown from the stands at PSG's former United winger, Angel Di Maria, who had one disappointing season at Old Trafford, but impressed on Tuesday.
The winger pretended to drink from a beer bottle which landed close to him near the touchline and later a plastic bottle was also thrown in his direction.
UEFA will also investigate allegations that some stairways were blocked, while PSG face a series of allegations after their fans smuggled flares into the ground, while an object was thrown at United defender Luke Shaw.
