RABAT, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- India's auto parts supplier Varroc Lighting Systems opened on Tuesday in the northern Moroccan city of Tangier its first plant in the north African country.
The inauguration ceremony of the 17,000-sq-meter manufacturing and product development center was chaired by Moroccan Minister of Industry Moulay Hafid Elalamy.
This new plant will produce headlamps, rear lamps and daytime running lamps to the growing auto manufacturing industry in Morocco.
Built with nearly 45-million-U.S. dollar investment, the new factory will offer 650 new jobs.
