NAIROBI, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Kenyan premier league champions Gor Mahia and Petro Atletico of Angola face off in a winner-take-it-all clash in Nairobi on Sunday in their final group match of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Gor's head coach Hassan Oktay has made a rallying call to his troops saying the outcome of the match will determine the club's season.
"We only have this one match to know our fate in the CAF competitions. Gor does not have another opportunity," said Oktay, the Turkish-Cypriot coach.
After their consecutive losses in Algeria and Egypt, Gor Mahia must summon their strength and take wave after wave in their attacks against Atletico to win and secure their ticket to the quarterfinals.
The Kenyan champions have received a boost with the medical team clearing five important players to play on Sunday.
Midfielders Samuel Onyango, Kenneth Muguna and Boniface Omondi together with defenders Joash Onyango and Harun Shakava have been given the green light to play after shaking off the knocks in Algeria.
Group top scorer Jacques Tuyisenge and star striker Dennis Oliech have also been cleared and will be a thorn in the flesh in the Atletico defense line.
