GHAZNI, Afghanistan, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Up to 15 militants have been killed and a group commander captured after the government forces targeted Taliban hideouts in Gilan and Muqar districts of eastern Afghanistan's Ghazni province, an army statement released here said on Monday.
Five more militants have been injured and a group commander Abdul Wahab arrested during the operations launched Sunday.
The statement, however, didn't say if there were casualties on security personnel.
Taliban outfit has not made comment.
