NEW DELHI, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Indian security forces on Friday killed Islamic State (IS) Commander Ishfaq Ahmad Sofi, a close aide of most-wanted terrorist Zakir Moosa, in an encounter in Sopore district, Indian-controlled Kashmir.
Ishfaq was believed to be the lone survivor of the terror outfit in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
According to local media reports, Ishfaq was a commander of Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK), an IS-inspired module, with Zakir Moosa as its chief.
