BEIJING, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Fine Suzhou embroidery work, some with Belt and Road elements, and Suzhou style rosewood furniture are on display at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing.

Created from prototypes of bronzeware, jadeware and grotto sculptures, the over 30 embroidery works were made by Wang Lihua, whose unique embroidery skills make the works look three-dimensional.

The more than 20 rosewood pieces of furniture, crafted by Han Jianxian, showcased the essence of traditional Chinese furniture with their succinct designs and fine craftsmanship.

Suzhou in east China's Jiangsu Province is an ancient city with a history of around 2,500 years. It is known for its exquisitely designed gardens and fine craftsmanship.

The exhibitions will both last until May 19.
