BEIJING, May 19 (Xinhua) - An exhibition on Wu Weishan sculpture arts was recently unveiled to the public at the National Museum of China.
Titled "Sculpting the Souls," the exhibition displays 179 pieces (sets) of works by Wu, curator of the National Art Museum of China.
Wu is an internationally renowned sculptor. His portraits of many great historical figures of Chinese culture, including Confucius and Laozi, have been exhibited in many countries across the world.
Contents of the works include Mao Zedong, Jiao Yulu, Lei Feng, the Yellow Emperor, Marco Polo and the Nanjing Massacre.
The exhibition lasts until June 23.
