HANOI, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Children from eight countries, including China and Russia will participate in an international children festival in Vietnam's central Quang Nam province on May 26-June 3, the Central Vietnam Television (VTV) said on Tuesday.
During the festival themed "Cultural Colors of the World," children from China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam will visit places of interest, including Vietnam's first river safari and its traditional craft villages, enjoy local special dishes as well as art performances, and perform dances and songs.
The annual festival, held by VTV, is aimed at boosting cultural exchanges, enhancing the understanding and preservation of cultural values of different countries, and reinforcing solidarity among children around the world, said the organizer.
