RIYADH, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Saudi-led coalition announced on Monday the launching of a humanitarian campaign to assist rain-hit victims in Yemen, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The spokesperson of the coalition, Turki Al Maliki, revealed that the campaign would cover Aden and nearby governorates with food, medicines and shelters.
He said that the heavy rains affected people and the infrastructure, in which some assistance would be delivered through the air.
At least three people died in Yemen following heavy rains and flood that struck several parts of the country's southern and eastern provinces over the past few hours on Sunday.
