PUL-E-ALAM, Afghanistan, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Security forces have killed seven militants and injured three others in Charkh district of the eastern Logar province, said an army statement released here Wednesday.
The operations with the involvement of units of Special Force, according to the statement, launched late Tuesday in parts of the restive Charkh district and lasted for a while during which seven insurgents had been killed, three injured and six others made captive.
Taliban militants haven't commented on the situation.
