China's 4th sci-fi conference to be held in Beijing

BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- The fourth China Science Fiction Conference will be held from Nov. 2 to 3 in Beijing, according to a press conference of the China Association for Science and Technology on Wednesday.

This year's conference will have six forums with the core being China's science fiction film development, discussing the integration of science fiction and culture, technology, popularization of science, movies, games and teenagers.

Overseas guests will be invited to the conference. Since 2016, the conference has been held in three cities of Beijing, Chengdu and Shenzhen.

According to Wednesday's press conference, the country will hold the national science popularization events from Sept. 14 to 20.
