Aerial photo taken on Oct. 24, 2019 shows part of the Sichuan-Tibet highway in Bomi County, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The Sichuan-Tibet highway, which was put into operation on Dec. 25, 1954 and has a length of over 2,000 kilometers. Over the past 65 years, the central and local governments have invested heavily to lift the highway's traffic capacity and safety. Besides more tunnels and bridges, almost all sections of the highway have been widened and asphalted. (Xinhua/Jiang Hongjing)
