RABAT, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and his visiting Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu pledged on Thursday to further strengthen cooperation in the economic and commercial fields.
"Bilateral trade volume has been increasing. We know there is an imbalance in favor of Turkey that both sides are working to redress," Cavusoglu said in a press briefing after the talks.
A Turkish delegation will soon visit Morocco to reach an agreement in this regard, he added.
"We will increase particularly Turkish investment in Morocco," the Turkish minister noted.
Cavusoglu reaffirmed Turkey's support for territorial integrity, stability and security of Morocco, and dismissed any separatist group or agenda.
Meanwhile, Bourita said they discussed how to foster the partnership between Morocco and Turkey and how to remove some obstacles to trade.
