BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Buenos Aires Youth Olympics organizers said Friday the Games' passes for spectators are no longer available after all 600,000 bracelet-passes have already been distributed to accomodate the high volume of visitors coming to watch competitions.
The pass, a bracelet, contains a chip which will allow access to fans watching the 4,000 athletes compete across their sports.
Competitions take place across four locations: Urban Park, Tecnopolis Park, Green Park and the Youth Olympic Center.
The four Youth Olympic Parks had 350,000 visitors in the first five days of competition, the organizers said.
Between 200,000 to 215,000 people attended the Opening Ceremony of the Games, which was the first Opening Ceremony of any Olympic Games to be held outside a stadium. The attendance broke a record for the greatest number of visitors in the modern history of the Olympic Games Opening Ceremonies, the organizers added.
